Island Activities

Hachijojima, part of the Izu Islands, is a paradise situated only 45 mins flight or an overnight ferry trip from Tokyo. Escape the hustle and stress of city life with a visit to this national park. The crystal clear and warm waters of Hachijojima ensure varied and exotic sealife in abundance. Scuba diving here is by far the most popular attraction for the island. Followed closely by sports fishing.
It's also a mecca for surfers trying to get away from the crowded shore breaks of Chiba. Hachijo has sister city relations with Maui due to its similar topography and climate. The perfect weekend getaway.
